Homes help spread joy with over 600 Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child

Several care homes within the Aria Care Group have joined forces with the local community to spread festive cheer by collecting over 600 shoeboxes filled with gifts for Operation Christmas Child, an initiative by charity Samaritan’s Purse.

Operation Christmas Child has been making a global impact since 1993, delivering joy to children in over 170 countries through the distribution of shoebox gifts containing toys, school supplies, and hygiene items.

This year, care homes including AbbeycrestGalsworthy HouseHome of CompassionDeer Park ViewCranmer CourtOaken Holt and Huntercombe Hall have actively participated in this heartwarming cause.

Residents, colleagues, and the generous local community have come together to contribute a selection of items. The collective effort has resulted in the assembly of over 600 shoeboxes.
