My aunt D was admitted to Cranmer Court for rehab’ and assessment after an emergency hospital admission. She was there for several weeks and the care she received was exemplary. When I visited (prior booking and full Covid measures in place) the home was inviting, warm and cheerful. Her room was lovely, with en-suite facilities, phone, TV and a window overlooking the garden. Every member of staff that I encountered was friendly and professional and my questions were always answered. She had the choice to be included in various communal activities and enjoyed them. While she was there, she put on some much needed weight, her mental functions improved as she was mentally stimulated and had regular hydration, and the “roses” came back to her cheeks. I never worried for a second that she was in a safe and caring environment. Thank you to everyone; you are all wonderful. Linda

Norah is our Home Manager at Cranmer Court Care Home, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:

“I have over 30 years of experience managing nursing homes. I have completed a Registered Manager’s Award along with the Gold Standards Framework for Care Homes.

As the Manager of Cranmer Court since 2008, I have recruited an outstanding Care Team to provide the highest standard of care for the home’s residents. I am passionate about palliative care, and use my skills in this field to provide a welcoming and warm home environment for residents, relatives and loved ones.

Since joining the team at Cranmer Court, I have established the home’s reputation as one which delivers an excellent standard of care through team work, a network of care professionals, and strong communication with residents’ families. I strive to instil confidence in our residents with my open and approachable attitude.

Throughout my time at Cranmer Court I have received positive feedback from residents, relatives, and my Care Team in my pursuit to develop a vibrant community. As a Manager, I enjoy a challenge and am not afraid to put in as much effort as possible in order to achieve success. I approach my work with excitement in knowing that no two days are ever the same.”
