We stand out from the rest due to our features, these include, personalised care plans, highly trained and compassionate colleagues, engaging activities, effective communication between the team, residents, and their families, and a comfortable and safe environment. What does care from the heart mean to the team at East Hill House?
“Each Resident is special in their own way, we aim to support each individual by providing emotional support, reassurance, building relationships and trust, a safe environment, respect, resident centred and most of all making each resident feel loved and appreciated. Care from the heart enables the team to see things from the other person’s perspective and in that way, we are able to support residents to develop their own strengths, and achieve independence that they may have been worried was no longer possible.”

Meet the Manager
Emilie is our Home Manager at East Hill House, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:
“I joined East Hill House four and half years ago as a domestic help. I then moved into the laundry, then the activities and wellbeing team, before becoming the home coordinator. I have recently taken on the role of Home Manager at East Hill House and feel my experience of different aspects of the home places me in a great position to lead the team here.
I love to be involved with the activities and events that we hold at East Hill House, as the best part of the job is my residents. Being with them and interacting in a meaningful way and supporting my team, which is a ‘good bunch’.
I love the local area. There are plenty of dementia-friendly activities happening, including walking football on Mondays and a dementia choir that our residents are involved in.”
