Welcome to St Georges

St Georges Care Home, in the vibrant suburb of St George, Bristol, within easy access to local shops and amenities, and just a quick bus ride away from the bustling city centre.

Life at St Georges is busy and fun, we have lots of activities that are resident led to ensure we meet everyone’s needs. It’s important that we get to know our residents and what makes them feel at home, then we can truly build together an environment that is trusted. It’s this alliance that makes us strong and unique and why our residents stay with us.

What does care from the heart mean to the team at St Georges?
“We listen and act on the residents’ personal likes and dislikes, we introduce new foods and music and lots of activities. Everythin we do is for our amazing residents and it is all worthwhile when we see their lovely smiles.”

Daily life at St Georges Care Home

At Aria Care, we take a genuine interest in you and the way you like spending your time. This means we can tailor your time with us and make sure it’s every bit as enjoyable as life has always been. With round-the-clock care and support, dining experiences and stimulating activities, you’ll soon be calling us “home”.

Keeping Things Personal

The welcoming surroundings at St George’s Care Home are matched by the high standard of individual care our colleagues provide to our residents. When you arrive and throughout your stay you’re greeted with warmth, passion, and care and our community is vibrant, happy, and homely.

We love learning as much as we can about who we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual need and interests. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, how they like their tea, and everything about their daily routine. Our team take the time to get to know all our residents and encourage independence and communication.

We are dedicated to providing a smooth transition into a home where care is from the heart and interaction with residents is paramount. Our residents show us the way. They tell us what they need, and we do our very best to deliver. Every element of our care is considered with their needs in mind. Surrounding everyone with familiarity, security and care, we make their experience with us as fulfilling as possible.

Meet the Manager

Rebecca Protheroe is our Home Manager at St Georges Care Home, here’s a little bit more about the home in her own words:

“I lead my professional Care Team in delivering the highest level of care and support for our residents. My commitment to professional development has equipped me well for my role here, where I work hard to ensure that those in my care lead happy and fulfilling lives, whilst maintaining choice over the care and support they receive.

I believe in maintaining strong relationships with residents and their relatives, and understand the important contribution that these relationships make to the successful running of a care home.

I feel that the Aria Care philosophy matches up well with my own beliefs on care provision and I am committed to ensuring that all our residents continue to receive the high levels of care and protection they deserve.”

At St Georges, care from the heart means we listen and act on the residents’ personal likes and dislikes, we introduce new foods and music and lots of activities. Everything we do is for the amazing people in our community and it is all worthwhile when we see their lovely smiles.
