Daily life at St Georges Care Home

Individual activities, tailored to our resident’s needs so they feel at home.
Our residents can eat breakfast in the dining room or within their room.
Regular coffee mornings, where we invite the local community into our homes to socialise and spend time with our residents.

Enjoy music from a local entertainer whilst spending time with friends.
Homemade afternoon teas to enjoy with family and friends.
Our salons and barbers are filled with laughter and fun while our residents get pampered.

Evening

After a delicious dinner, you’ll find our residents enjoying an after-dinner drink.
Gatherings and parties to celebrate important dates, with families and friends invited to join in and spend precious time together.
Quizzes and games fill the rooms with joy during the evenings in our community.

The welcoming surroundings at St George’s Care Home are matched by the high standard of individual care our colleagues provide to our residents. When you arrive and throughout your stay you’re greeted with warmth, passion, and care and our community is vibrant, happy, and homely.

We love learning as much as we can about who we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual need and interests. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, how they like their tea, and everything about their daily routine. Our team take the time to get to know all our residents and encourage independence and communication.

We are dedicated to providing a smooth transition into a home where care is from the heart and interaction with residents is paramount. Our residents show us the way. We were looking for some temporary respite care for my Mother in Law and found St George’s Care home through Google. Our initial contact with Evian was just what we were looking for. She was very friendly and sympathetic to our requirements and listened intently to what we were looking for. She took some details and told us we’d be contacted on Monday. The call on Monday from Rebecca was just as the first call had been. Friendly and sympathetic. Unfortunately my Mother in Law passed away the day before our appointment so we did not require the care. My review is only based on our initial enquiries but I’m sure the care would have been equally as good as the service we received from our first contact.
