Welcome to Ferfoot
Ferfoot Care Home set in Chippenham, Wiltshire, between Swindon and Bath. Following a recent refurbishment, our bedrooms and communal spaces have been transformed with a fresh new look. Our community provides an active lifestyle that supports as much independence as possible. Engaging daily activities to stimulate the mind, body and soul also includes trips out to places of local interest. For those who don’t wish to venture that far, the mature gardens offer a lovely place to sit and enjoy an afternoon tea in the summer or to while away the time with a good book.
Our community is warm, friendly and extremely inviting and we are often told how welcoming the atmosphere is when the community, friends and family visit. We have a sense of pride in what we do for everyone, with the residents at the heart of all decisions made with them and on behalf of them.
What does care from the heart mean to the team at Ferfoot?
“We provide resident-centred care, catering to everyone’s likes and dislikes respectfully and professionally. We ensure the residents feel at home and that all their needs are met.”

Keeping Things Personal
The welcoming surroundings at Ferfoot Care Home are matched by the high standard of individual care our colleagues provide to our residents. When you arrive and throughout your stay you’re greeted with warmth, passion, and care and our community is vibrant, happy, and homely.
We love learning as much as we can about who we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual need and interests. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, how they like their tea, and everything about their daily routine. Our team take the time to get to know all our residents and encourage independence and communication.
We are dedicated to providing a smooth transition into a home where care is from the heart and interaction with residents is paramount. Our residents show us the way. They tell us what they need, and we do our very best to deliver. Every element of our care is considered with their needs in mind. Surrounding everyone with familiarity, security and care, we make their experience with us as fulfilling as possible.

Meet the Manager
Roxana is our Home Manager at Ferfoot Care Home, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:
“As the Home Manager, I believe that our residents should be treated with the highest quality of care possible and endeavour to ensure that my team and I always maintain this. I lead by example and involve myself in day-to-day life of the home as well as making Ferfoot a happy and enjoyable place in which to live and work. I take a lot of pleasure from spending time with relatives and residents, understanding the important contribution that these relationships make to the successful running of a care home.
I have over 15 years of experience in the care sector having worked in various roles including carer, senior carer and deputy manager, prior to then becoming home manager. All my roles have given me insight and knowledge which I draw upon each day and share with my team.
It is important to me to develop team members to achieve their best, which means that together we make a difference to the lives of each of the residents in our care.”
