Ferfoot Care Home in Chippenham has been celebrating a few very special birthdays recently.
From personalised cakes to decorating the home with balloons and banners, our team always go the extra mile to ensure that our residents feel extra special on their birthdays.
First up was Penny, who celebrated an amazing milestone of 103 years. To celebrate, the team hosted an afternoon tea party and presented her with a cake. When asked what her secret to a long life is, Penny answered, “everything in moderation.”
The celebrations continued with Maurice, who turned 91 last month. Home Manager Roxana said, “Maurice used to be a lorry driver and often talks about his time driving around, so of course we had to incorporate this with his cake.”
We would also like to say a very happy birthday to Jean who also turned 91 last month. Joined by her daughter, the home presented her with a beautiful cake and sang Happy Birthday to celebrate.”
