Daily life at St Georges Care Home
At Aria Care, we take a genuine interest in you and the way you like spending your time. This means we can tailor your time with us and make sure it’s every bit as enjoyable as life has always been. With round-the-clock care and support, dining experiences and stimulating activities, you’ll soon be calling us “home”.
Morning
- Individual activities, tailored to our resident’s needs so they feel at home.
- Our residents can eat breakfast in the dining room or within their room.
- Regular coffee mornings, where we invite the local community into our homes to socialise and spend time with our residents.
Afternoon
- Enjoy music from a local entertainer whilst spending time with friends.
- Homemade afternoon teas to enjoy with family and friends.
- Our salons and barbers are filled with laughter and fun while our residents get pampered.
Evening
- After a delicious dinner, you’ll find our residents enjoying an after-dinner drink.
- Gatherings and parties to celebrate important dates, with families and friends invited to join in and spend precious time together.
- Quizzes and games fill the rooms with joy during the evenings in our community.

We love learning as much as we can about who we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual need and interests. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, how they like their tea, and everything about their daily routine. Our team take the time to get to know all our residents and encourage independence and communication.

Rebecca Protheroe is our Home Manager at St Georges Care Home, here’s a little bit more about the home in her own words:
“I lead my professional Care Team in delivering the highest level of care and support for our residents. My commitment to professional development has equipped me well for my role here, where I work hard to ensure that those in my care lead happy and fulfilling lives, whilst maintaining choice over the care and support they receive.
I believe in maintaining strong relationships with residents and their relatives, and understand the important contribution that these relationships make to the successful running of a care home.
I feel that the Aria Care philosophy matches up well with my own beliefs on care provision and I am committed to ensuring that all our residents continue to receive the high levels of care and protection they deserve.”

Join us for our special Open Day tomorrow, 16th March, from 10am to 4pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover the warmth and care that defines our home.
Enjoy brunch or canapés and get a true feel of our community spirit by meeting our team and residents. It’s a glimpse into the vibrant life here, where every day is about living well together.
This is the ideal time to see firsthand how we put heart and expertise into everything we do, from nutrition and hydration to the overall wellbeing of our residents.
