Ferfoot Care Home set in Chippenham, Wiltshire, between Swindon and Bath. Our community provides an active lifestyle that supports as much independence as possible. Engaging daily activities to stimulate the mind, body and soul also includes trips out to places of local interest. For those who don’t wish to venture that far, the mature gardens offer a lovely place to sit and enjoy an afternoon tea in the summer or to while away the time with a good book.
Our community is warm, friendly and extremely inviting and we are often told how welcoming the atmosphere is when the community, friends and family visit. We have a sense of pride in what we do for everyone, with the residents at the heart of all decisions made with them and on behalf of them.

Busy planning our next refurbishment…
In March 2023 Aria Care embarked on a significant million pound refurbishment programme to improve the communities within our portfolio. We are now busy planning our work at Ferfoot, including looking at the colour palettes and furnishings which balance comfort, elegance and functionality.

Morning

We love learning as much as we can about who we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual need and interests. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, how they like their tea, and everything about their daily routine. Our team take the time to get to know all our residents and encourage independence and communication.

They tell us what they need, and we do our very best to deliver. Every element of our care is considered with their needs in mind. Meet the Manager
Roxana Boldeanu is our Home Manager at Ferfoot Care Home, here’s a little bit more about the home in her own words:
“As the Home Manager I believe that our residents should be treated with the highest quality of care possible and endeavour to ensure that my team and I always maintain this. I lead by example and involve myself in day to day life of the home as well as making Ferfoot a happy and enjoyable place in which to live and work.
I take a lot of pleasure from spending time with relatives and residents, understanding the important contribution that these relationships make to the successful running of a care home.
I have over 15 years of experience in the care sector having worked in various roles including carer, senior carer and deputy manager, prior to then becoming home manager. All my roles have given me insight and knowledge which I draw upon each day and share with my team.
It is important to me to develop team members to achieve their best, which means that together we make a difference to the lives of each of the residents in our care. An open-door policy and one team approach to everything is a strength here at Ferfoot which benefits everyone.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and getting the opportunity to get involved in home decoration and fashion which are things I love. I also like to travel in particular to historical sights to learn more about buildings and places around the world.”

Falcons year 6 s time to shine after our residents took all the attention ❤Children were interested in residents hobbies,life history and their favourite things !Here s Viv saying shes completely intrigued by mobile phones ,she never had one when younger 🤗Amongst the excitment others decided to mingle and check out those old school desks !❤

We have been keeping a secret 😎Or two maybe ...Ferfoot is going to look very different soon ...But for now please welcome our most courageous activity of the year ❤🤗"Back to school "!Reminiscing in full swing in Falcons year 6 Music class courtesy of Redlands Primary school Chippenham.Residents were able to interact and raise their hands when they knew the musical instruments!Sing along and not last receive stars from the teachers !Comparing to when school was different ,the smiles on everyone s faces when we walked into a class full of children and teachers ,paying attention to compete with children for the right answers and intergenerational benefits all round .Our hearts have melted today ❤❤
