My mum has stayed here twice now for respite care and I have to say that the staff here are superb. Always cheerful, smiling, engaging and helpful – Arthur, Yvette, Michelle, Mylene, Jose, Siriya, Nikki and names I can’t remember . The African care assistant whose laugh and smile is as beautiful as it is infectious. They deal with every situation with calm and aplomb from flooded bathrooms, soiled undies, the dementia that has robbed some residents of their memories. Five stars from me , a 10/10 an A+. Thank you for looking after Diana. Xxxx

We could not have wished for better care for our Grandad Lionel in the final years of his life.
On the way to his funeral yesterday, we drove past the care home and all of the staff came out to pay their respects. It was one of the most moving things I have ever seen.

In my humble opinion, Belmont House is the best care home that there is today.

The way the home is being ran is utterly marvelous.
The care work from the home manager up to the domestic department is top notch in every sense of the word.

You can never find a home like this home.

Excellence in Everything is there thing.

From the Administrative staff, Nursing/Care staff, Food and Beverage Department, Domestic Department, Laundry Department and so on.
The Best!

They are accomplished professionals at what they do at a very high level.

My mother spend nearly 4 years in Belmont House nurseing home but sadly passed away last week. In the time she was there she was well looked after and cared for especially in her final days by Marissa and Sylvia on the 2nd floor. I would like to thank everyone at the home for the care and compassion that she received whilst she was a resident there..

Meet the Manager

Arthur is our Home Manager at Belmont House Care Home, here’s a little bit more about the home in his own words:

“As the Home Manager, I have a qualified nursing background from Philippines. I ensure the effective delivery of high holistic person-centred care in a safe environment. I lead by example, creating a culture of continuous learning and development and the team are encouraged and valued ensuring all aspects of care can be maintained to the highest standards.

I enjoy all aspects of my job, although there are many challenges on a day to day basis, working with a team who provide high standards of person centred care to residents to ensure they have a fulfilled, engaged and happy environment to live always makes me happy.

I have been working in the care industry all my working life starting as a Psychiatric Nurse for 5 years and A&E Nurse for almost 3 years. I worked as a General Nurse for 2 years, working my way up to Senior Nurse. I began work in care homes as Head of Care before quickly becoming a Deputy Manager and then being promoted to Home Manager and then Senior Home Manager.

I have been involved in the commissioning of a new home and understand the challenges that can be encountered. I enjoy the day to day challenges of running a care home, working with many professionals, internally and externally and building those relationships with and for Belmont house. I continue to learn and develop and no day is ever the same which makes everything so worthwhile.

My experience and passion for the role I perform is to lead by example, ensuring the home follows all policies and procedures to provide a highly skilled team to enhance the residents lives so they have the most fulfilled life they can have with a leader who is driven to outstanding care.”
