The residents and team at Tall Trees Care Home welcomed family, friends, and the local community to their Christmas Market last week, raising £150 to go towards purchasing their very own Virtual Reality (VR) equipment for their residents, which was a great success.
Residents love VR equipment at Tall Trees, so much so they have requested that the home owns it’s own, rather than renting on an ad-hoc basis.
The event was the perfect spot to get lovely gifts for a special someone and enjoy seasonal Christmas baking and refreshments.
“We had fifteen stall holder’s set-up throughout the home including local craft companies, schools and we also had a stall with things that the residents had made themselves.
“It was a great day that went perfectly, it was so wonderful to see so many difference faces enjoying the Christmas spirit and the home was such a buzz of activity and happiness for our residents. We welcomed over forty lovely members of the local community though our home’s door, resulting in a great mix of people from local villages. It is something that we will definitely be doing again, with the hope that it becomes a staple in the Chipping Norton community calendar moving forwards.” Stephanie Jones, Home Manager at Tall Trees
