Creative Aria in Bloom gardening at Tall Trees

Tall Trees aria in bloom resident

The residents and team at Tall Trees Care Home in Chipping Norton have been busy in their garden with the support of their local community and families taking part in Aria in Bloom, they have been making  the most of the wonderful weather to transform and spruce up their gardens ready for summer.

There have been some real creative highlights throughout the days in the garden and everything is starting to take shape. The home is currently undergoing some refurbishment work on its bedrooms and living spaces and the team carrying this out decided to get involved with the project outside as well. Ash, the foreman and his team took leftover copper pipe off-cuts and turned them into individual flowerpots that are now beautifully mounted on reclaimed wood kindly donated by one of the families, which the residents took great delight in potting flowers.  Joe, Site Maintenance Officer at the home focused on planting a lavender flowerbed which adds a lovely sensory area to the garden now for the residents to enjoy as it grows.

With the sun shining down, the team, residents and friends from the local community came together to keep the Aria In Bloom magic going, whether planting, painting, or simply lending a hand, everyone played a part in making the garden project blossom. The amazing Nurse Vee got involved  alongside lovely residents Lynn and Angela—true teamwork in action! There was even jet washing of the patio and adding some lights to the pergola.

Everyone at the home would like to say a huge thank you to all that got involved and work will be carrying on, with a special thanks to Dan, Hayden and Lottie for all their hard work and kindness.
