The residents and team at Magna Care Centre in Wimborne have been out in the local community celebrating National Dog Rescue Day, in preparation the residents made homemade dog treats which wellbeing lead Claire and deputy manager Melissa handed out in the local community.
They took a trip to their local vets and Waggy tails Dog Rescue to spread the love to all the four legged friends locally. The biscuits and visits were appreciated by all in the community.
To carry on the theme of the day the residents and team followed their baking and local excursion with a story of how Rushton Dog Rescue began, from the book Darkness to Light whilst enjoying their aptly baked dog bone shaped homemade biscuits and a hot brew.
