The team at L’Hermitage Care Home were helped by a resident affectionately known as ‘the Chief Gardener’, to make up some pots to go outside on our decking. This will brighten up our wonderful outside space over the coming months.
Our residents love spending time on our decking and our chief gardener received some new plants, which she potted in the sunshine. These pots will feature on the decking to make it a colourful place for all our residents to enjoy.
Activity-based care is a key ingredient at L’Hermitage, as it is a great way to increase socialisation and engages our residents to help promote independence within the home. Many of us welcome the chance to enjoy some quality time, relaxing and being outside in the fresh air.
