Recently at L’hermitage Care Centre and Beaumont Villa Care Home in St Peter, residents and team members got into the Christmas spirit and hosted a fundraiser for Elf Day! Everyone got dressed up as elves and put on a festive cake sale to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society, a charity very close to everyone’s hearts as it supports those living with dementia and funds vital research for a better future.
To help this amazing cause, the hospitality team baked some delicious cupcakes and, after a fantastic day packed with festive games and cake sales, Santa’s little helpers successfully raised £100 for this important cause, marking a very proud day for the L’hermitage and Beaumont Villa communities.
Wellbeing Coordinator Liza played a key role in making the day extra special and commented, “I really enjoyed the day, seeing the residents laughing and having fun!”
