L’Hermitage and Beaumont Villa residents enjoy airshow

On Thursday 12th September, the residents at L’Hermitage Care Centre and Beaumont Villa Care Home in St Peter enjoyed watching the Jersey International Air Display.

Originally known as the Battle of Britain Air Display, the free annual event has taken place every year since 1952. During the 4-hour display, several international aircraft and traditional RAF planes take to the skies above St Aubin’s Bay.

Wellbeing Coordinator Liza commented, “we sat in the garden and enjoyed the sunshine with a drink and a lovely cream scone prepared by our wonderful chefs.”

All the residents, colleagues, and some family members had a fun afternoon watching the incredible display. One of our residents Charles said, “it was a splendid afternoon, I can’t wait for next year.”

L’Hermitage Care Centre which is based in St Peter, on the island of Jersey, offers residential care and nursing care on a permanent and short stay basis, with their sister home Beaumont Villa Care Home based on the same site offering dementia care.
