The residents and team at Beaumont Villa and L’Hermitage Care Homes were delighted to be visited by some rescue animals during Care Home Open Week.
Everyone at the home was excited to open their gardens for a party to celebrate this event with family members. They were joined by a few furry friends from Finni’s Ark.
Finni’s Ark is an animal sanctuary specifically for the rehoming and rescue of livestock, poultry and equine. They provide a home for life to all the animals in their care and are funded from their income from work and donations from supporters.
We had a wonderful day celebrating Care Home Open Week with our families and special guests from Finni’s Ark, including Jethro and Sweep, the Shetlands ponies. We enjoyed sitting in our gardens drinking and eating a wonderful lunch prepared by our chef.
