The residents and team at Tall Trees Care Home hosted a superhero inspired event to celebrate the great British tradition of Afternoon Tea.
Afternoon Tea Week which took place from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th August is a perfect excuse to catch up with loved ones over a cup of tea and some delicious treats.
Our catering team prepared a selection of party foods and sweet treats including cakes for the afternoon event and we were joined by local entertainer Julie who put on an amazing show for our residents, colleagues and relatives.
These types of events enable those living in our communities to come together, share stories and build meaningful connections, contributing to overall happiness and a sense of belonging, making you feel part of a community who care from the heart.
We love dressing up and having fun with our residents and would like to thank everyone who joined us for our celebrations. It was lovely to see so many superheroes taking a break from crime solving to join us. We look forward to seeing everyone at our future events!
