Residents, colleagues, relatives and the local community at Tall Trees Care Home in Chipping Norton came together to spruce up their outdoor space as part of our nationwide campaign Aria in Bloom.
After the success of Aria in Bloom last year when it was launched, we wanted to get involved to make this year’s competition even better and make our gardens a blooming oasis for the people living in our community.
Our garden underwent a remarkable transformation, thanks to the collective efforts and hard work of everyone. Our Head Chef also got involved and made a very special Tall Trees cake which can be seen below and showcases just how beautiful our home is.
The sun was shining adding to the success of the day and the results were truly impressive. As part of RHS National Gardening Week taking place in May, it was a great opportunity for us to get involved in the Big Seed Sow initiative, a community-growing campaign designed to get communities, groups and individuals sowing and sharing seeds. This year we planted Californian Poppy and Love-Lies-Bleeding seeds.
Home Manager Gary Kent commented on the success of the day, “It’s incredible to see how Aria in Bloom has brought everyone together to make such a beautiful change in our community. The support and enthusiasm from everyone involved have truly made a difference in enhancing our outdoor spaces.”
All 50 of our communities at Aria Care got involved and the winning home and runners up will be chosen in the next few weeks when the plants and flowers have bloomed and the results can be seen in full effect.
