At Southlands Place Care Home we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details or our upcoming events:

Southlands Place Coffee Club
Date: First Wednesday of every month
Time: 10.30am
This monthly event is a great place for likeminded people from our local community to get together and make friends, take part in social activities and discuss local issues, all while enjoying a cuppa. Enjoy time with our residents and team, all are welcome.

Film Club at Southlands Place
Date: Third Wednesday of every month
Time: 2pm – 4pm
Grab some popcorn and enjoy a film with our residents. This is a monthly event open to our local community.
