At Abbeycrest Nursing Home in Sonning Common we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Aria Care Coffee Club
Date: 1st Friday of each month
Time: From 10am
This event will be a great place for likeminded people from around the community to get together and make friends, take part in social activities and discuss local issues, all while enjoying a cuppa.

Weekly Whist Club
Date: Held every Monday
Time: 1.30pm – 4.30pm
Come along and join our residents for our weekly whist club that is held in our lounge, ideal for all card playing enthusiasts.
