Residents at Southlands Place Care Home had a great time celebrating Christmas Day. Our team worked hard on the banquet prep and made our dining room look fantastic for our residents!
The food was definitely a highlight of the Christmas dinner, with a full-on traditional Christmas banquet, with all the trimmings. We all had a lovely time and it felt so amazing at Southlands Place with all the Christmas decorations, lights and festive activities. Our residents enjoyed opening presents together and thoroughly enjoyed an amazing Christmas meal prepared by our kitchen team.
We would like to say a massive well done and thank you to all our amazing staff. Our carers, management, kitchen team, hospitality, activities, housekeeping and maintenance staff members all played a part in ensuring our residents had a truly magical day. Our team love putting on these types of events for our residents to enjoy. Interaction and engagement through events and activities are essential to the care provided at Southlands Place and we look forward to more events in 2023.
