The residents and team at Rendlesham Care Home held a Mad Hatters Tea Party themed event to celebrate the great British tradition of Afternoon Tea.
Afternoon Tea Week which took place from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th August is a perfect excuse to catch up with loved ones over a cup of tea and some delicious treats.
Our catering team prepared a selection of party foods and sweet treats including cakes for all to enjoy. Many of those who joined us dressed up in Alice in Wonderland inspired fancy dress. There was plenty of laughter and fun had by all, including the usual crazy silly hats!
These types of events enable those living in our communities to come together, share stories and build meaningful connections, contributing to overall happiness and a sense of belonging, making you feel part of a community who care from the heart.
