The residents of Rendlesham Care Centre in Suffolk were recently visited by the talented Morabe Community Group and the pupils of Eyke Primary School.
Regular visitors to the home, the intergenerational choir have put on some fantastic performances for residents and their festive visit was no different!
With deep roots in the community, Morabe are a wonderful team of musicians who love to entertain and create a fantastic opportunity for children to express their musical flair and meet a variety of different people.
Led by Stephanie, who played the keyboard, the group delighted everyone with some Christmas favourites such as Ding Dong Merrily on High and Little Town of Bethlehem, with many of the residents joyfully singing along. They ended their performance with a festive sendoff of ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
After the entertainment, everyone got together for some refreshments, chatting amongst themselves and enjoying some cookies, hot chocolate and, of course, mince pies!
Everyone had a wonderful time, made possible by the fantastic new wellbeing team at Rendlesham—PJ, Zoe, and Cara—as well as the rest of the team, who worked together to make it a special festive celebration.
