Rendlesham Care Centre in Suffolk has recently partnered with The Salvation Army Woodbridge to establish a food bank donation point within the home’s reception area. This partnership aimed to raise awareness and collect essential non-perishable food items to assist the local community in need.
As part of this effort, the team at Rendlesham Care Centre actively encouraged contributions, with colleagues, residents, and visitors coming together to donate generously. A substantial number of food items were collected, with the first batch handed over to Lesley, a representative of The Salvation Army Woodbridge. The donation was presented by Michael Kenny, Regional Sales Support Manager.
“We are delighted to be able to contribute to such an important cause,” said Michael. “Supporting the community is a core value at Rendlesham Care Centre, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with The Salvation Army to help those in need.”
The food bank collection point will remain an ongoing initiative at the care centre, with Rendlesham Care Centre committed to maintaining its support for The Salvation Army Woodbridge.
The team at Rendlesham are excited to play a part in making a positive impact on the local community and encourage everyone to join them in supporting this essential cause.
