The residents at Rectory House Nursing Home in Sompting enjoyed a Christmas to remember, thanks to a fantastic team effort.
The wellbeing team, alongside the housekeeping team, worked tirelessly to bring the Christmas cheer into every corner of the care home. They thoughtfully decorated the entire home with their own personal touches, transforming the space into a winter wonderland, ready for the big day. In addition to the decorations, the team ensured that each resident received a special gift, delivered by Rectory House’s very own Father Christmas! It was a heartwarming moment, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces as they received their presents.
The hospitality team also went above and beyond, preparing a fantastic Christmas feast with a traditional turkey dinner, a delicious nut roast, sprouts and pigs in blankets, and, to top it all off, a classic Christmas pudding. Residents had a great time tucking in, pulling crackers together and laughing at the funky glasses and silly jokes they found in the crackers!
