Recently, the team and residents at Rectory House Nursing Home in Sompting came together to raise funds for a charity close to everyone’s hearts, Breast Cancer Now, who help thousands of people affected by Breast Cancer and support groundbreaking research.
The charity are also great at helping people organise fundraising events and, after the team reached out to them, they sent over balloons, decorations, posters and a donation box for the event.
The wellbeing and housekeeping teams did an amazing job decorating the dining room pretty in pink and the hospitality team baked and beautifully decorated homemade cakes for the event. Residents also dressed up in pink and everyone had a lovely time mingling and enjoying the delicious goodies.
After a fantastic team effort from everyone in the Rectory House team, the home raised £35 to donate towards cancer support and research.
