Oak Manor Care Home recently had a Summer Fete for those living in their community, friends, relatives, and locals.
Even though the sunshine disappeared and the weather was not kind to us, everyone still had a great time at the fete! We started out in the gardens, but had to put our contingency plan into action and move everything inside when the rain came.
We had a fabulous raffle with lots of wonderful donations from local businesses, friends of Oak Manor and our own team. We held a ‘Guess the Bear’ and a ‘Guess the Chocolates’ competition and there was a tombola, brick-a-brac and craft stalls to look round.
As always, our wonderful catering team produced some delicious homemade cakes for everyone, as well as some hot drinks. The Singing Gardener performed during the Fete and everyone that joined us had a great afternoon.
We would like to thank everyone for the incredible donations, your time and support. Every penny made will go into the resident’s fund. We appreciate the support from our team, residents, relatives, and community.
