At Oak Manor Care Home we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Join us for our monthly Care From the Heart Café (Dementia friendly Café). Take some time to come in for a chat whilst enjoying cakes and beverages. All welcome – make a note in your diary for each month.

Christmas with ‘The King’
Date: Thursday 5th December
Time: 2:00 – 5:00pm
On residents’ request, Elvis will be back in the building! Join us at Oak Manor for festive drinks, tasty treats and song and dance with the king of Rock ‘N’ Roll!
