At Oak Manor Nursing Home in Norfolk, residents were joined by their families to celebrate Halloween with some spooky tunes and tasty treats!

The home was joined by a fantastic performer, The Singing Gardener, who entertained with a 50s and 60s singalong, enjoyed by all, particularly the residents who love listening to songs from their era.

The wellbeing team dressed up in some ghoulish garments and served up cupcakes, baked by Alex, the head chef, for residents and relatives to decorate with their spookiest designs.

Everyone chose their toppings and colours and learned how to create icing, mixing the buttercream and piping the icing onto the cupcakes. They all had a great time creating some spooktacular treats and an even better time eating them!

Resident, Margaret, commented that she “loved making cupcakes” and Liz added that “the singing was fabulous!” Receptionist, Polly, who helped with the event, said “we are delighted to have made Halloween so fun and special for the residents and their families!”
