A valued team member at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Scarning, Norfolk was surprised this week with an award to recognise her dedication to her work as a Nurse and commitment to residents and her team.
Every month nominated colleagues can be awarded a Heart of Gold Award and every quarter the Regional awards acknowledge and celebrate one of these wonderful colleagues in their region. Deadra was selected by Regional Director Gary Kent to receive the Hearts of Gold Quarterly Regional Winner award.
Gary visited Oak Manor to surprise Nurse Deadra by presenting her with the award certificate and a beautiful bunch of flowers. Gary thanked Deadra for all her kindness, care and commitment to the home.
Deadra said, “This award means so much to me, I love my job and being part of the Oak Manor family, I am so happy to receive this award, thank you so much.”
Gary Kent, who was behind the nomination and surprise, said “When I initially read the reasons why Deadra received her previous Heart of Gold award, I was impressed by what was written about her. Deadra has shown unwavering kindness, commitment, professionalism, and compassion in everything she does in Oak Manor. Deadra is a passionate Nurse who goes above and beyond for her residents and the team. She is a testament to Oak Manor and Aria and truly lives our value to ‘care from the heart’ in all she does. It was a privilege to present this award here today in Oak Manor!”
