Last month, the residents at Miranda House Care Home in Royal Wootton Bassett enjoyed a day trip to Whitehall Garden Centre in Lacock.
Known for their beautiful Christmas displays, the residents were excited to see the Christmas scenes and decorations. It was also resident Maureen’s birthday, so the team wanted to take her out to celebrate which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Alongside Wellbeing Lead Lorraine and Senior Carer Tracey, the residents enjoyed fish and chips in the restaurant after looking at all the festive displays.
The residents enjoyed taking in the scenes and seeing all the families with children who were amazed by the displays.
Lorraine said, “Michael loved seeing all the children and telling them his name with a big smile on his face.”
Maureen said, “Oh my, this is so lovely.”
