At Miranda House we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Coffee Club
Date: Last Friday of every month
Time: 10.30am – 11.30am
This event will be a great place for likeminded people from around the community to get together and make friends, take part in social activities and discuss local issues, all while enjoying a cuppa.

Date: Friday 29th November
Time: 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Looking to get into the festive spirit? Come and see us at our stall in the high street for the Christmas lights switch-on and shopping evening.

Resident and Relative Christmas Event
Date: Thursday 5th December
Time: 4pm – 7pm
Get into the festive spirit and join us for our special Christmas gathering where there will be games, mince pies, wine, and a photo booth.
