At Miranda House we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Coffee Club
Date: Last Friday of every month
Time: 10.30am – 11.30am
This event will be a great place for likeminded people from around the community to get together and make friends, take part in social activities and discuss local issues, all while enjoying a cuppa.

Carers Forum
Dates: Wednesday 16th October
Time: 2pm – 4pm
Join us for our informal carers forum a place where anyone caring for a person living with dementia can share experiences, chat and meet other carers in a supportive environment. Refreshments and cake will be available.
