Magna Care Centre in Wimborne recently hosted their annual Christmas Wreath Workshop, bringing residents and the local community together to enjoy the festivities and express their creativity.
With the scent of mince pies and mulled wine filling the home, residents worked on their handmade wreaths, gathering foliage and preparing materials to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind designs and getting ready to sell them later in the evening.
Local businesses contributed to the festive charm of the evening with a variety of homemade stalls, with local businesses, Lily’s Homemade and Tracey Burns, selling handcrafted Christmas gifts and decorations.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for members of the local community to reconnect, with many sharing stories of their school days together. Local resident Emma, commented, “It was such a homely and nostalgic atmosphere, and it warmed my heart to be welcomed into the home,” and Home Manager Kayleigh added that it was “truly a pleasure to see everyone come together and enjoy the evening!”
