As the days grow brighter, it’s the perfect opportunity to roll up our sleeves and get to work in the garden. At Aria Care, we understand that teamwork makes everything possible, which is why we launched our Spring into Summer initiative this May with a ‘One Team Approach.’ We know that a great first impression matters, so we brought together our teams to ensure everything was ready for the months ahead.
Kayleigh, her team, and residents at Magna Care Centre in Wimborne worked together in the garden as they took part in our Aria in Bloom activity, to make it summer ready. With their focus being on the front of the home so they could transform it.
Everyone rolled up their sleeves as they got through a wide range of activity including clearing and refreshing compost in a range of pots and planted a range of Mediterranean coloured flowers. We also planted some hanging baskets, wall baskets and more flowerpots for the main entrance.
Meanwhile the SMO and other volunteers sanded our benches and gave them a new coat of paint in sage green to match our new Aria colour. Then we planted yellow and orange Osteospermum along the entrance walls and turned over the soil and for good measure the patios got a jet wash!
A job well done by all the team, residents and volunteers and we can’t wait to see it bloom over the coming months.
Aria in Bloom will be an annual event, with all teams across the company coming together to prepare our homes for the warmer months. This initiative will transform our outdoor spaces into beautiful areas where residents can unwind and enjoy the company of their visitors.
