The team at Ivy Court are making their home shine for summer!

Ivy Court Care Home participating in the Aria in Bloom activity in May 2023

As we head into the warmer months, it’s the perfect time to get into the garden. At Aria Care we believe in the power of teamwork, which is why we launched our Spring into Summer initiative this May, with a ‘One Team Approach’. We understand the importance of making a great first impression so we rallied our teams to work together and get ready for the summer.

Both the team and those ‘green-fingered’ residents at Ivy Court Care Home are extremely proud of their home and thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in our Aria in Bloom activity.

Diana and Chloe from our Activities Team worked very hard to organise the team and volunteers. We cleaned and painted our garden benches and planted some beautiful flowers into our garden borders. Some of our residents planted some colourful hanging baskets and one of our team even hung a new garden clock.

We would like to thank our wonderful volunteers from the local Methodist church, family members and James our Hospitality Director for helping us on our Aria in Bloom day.

Aria in Bloom will become a yearly activity that everyone across the company will get involved with, helping our homes prepare for the warmer days ahead. Our residents will then be able to enjoy their outdoor spaces and give them and their visitors a beautiful space to unwind.

Ivy Court provides residential, nursing and dementia care on a permanent and short stay basis. If you are looking for a care home and want to find out more about our home, contact us today
