The residents and team at Ivy Court Nursing Home in Norwich came together to pay their respects to those that fought to protect our future in commemoration of Remembrance Day, a day that is extremely important to everyone at Ivy Court.
Veteran Tony, his wife Dot, and Reverend Julian were invited to join the home for the occasion. Tony and Dot have visited many times to help to make Remembrance Day special for residents.
Tony served in the Royal Air Force for 12 years and fought in the Gulf War, where many of his friends who fought bravely beside him sadly lost their lives. He made a heartfelt speech honouring his fallen comrades. Reverend Julian also led a church service for residents, and everyone sang hymns and prayed together.
