Prosecco and Pimms at Ivy Court for Care Home Open Week

Pimms afternoon at Ivy Court Care Home to celebrate Care Home Open Week 2023

The residents and team at Ivy Court Care Home, enjoyed an amazing afternoon of prosecco and music, as part of Care Home Open Week. It started off with a visit from The Lord Mayor, James, who joined our residents for a prosecco afternoon.

The fabulous Lucy, entertained our residents and The Lord Mayor and everyone enjoyed a dance, some prosecco and cake. It was a pleasure to welcome James to our home and we look forward to welcoming him back to Ivy Court in the future.

Later in the week we spent an amazing day celebrating Care Home Open Week, starting in the morning with a sing-along and dance coffee morning, followed by a Pimms afternoon, with singing and cake! We would like to thank our entertainment on the day Trevor and Cringleford Choir.

We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who joined us during Care Home Open Week, we had a lot of fun and enjoyment.

At Aria Care we are honoured to be a Founding Patron of Championing Social Care and are actively supporting and participating in this year’s Care Home Open Week, an initiative that connects communities and delivers a positive impact in the social care sector.

Caroline Roberts, CEO, Aria Care, shares, “We are thrilled to be a Founder Patron for Championing Social Care, and to further our ongoing commitment to supporting the social care sector.

“We firmly believe that everyone should have access to high-quality care, and we are dedicated to supporting the sector in improving standards and promoting well-being. Our participation in initiatives like Championing Social Care is a testament to this commitment.

“Our goal is to leave a lasting impact that will benefit future generations by advocating for the benefits of pursuing a career in the care sector.

“Working in care is not just a job, it’s a calling. It requires compassion, dedication, and a true desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Raising awareness about the rewards of a career in care can help attract more people to this fulfilling sector, where they can find purpose in helping others and making a positive impact on society”.
