Residents and their families at Ivy Court Care Home enjoyed a Summer Fete last weekend and even though the weather was not kind to us, everyone still had a great time!
We enjoyed a delicious BBQ, a selection of drinks and some tasty homemade cakes. During the fete we participated in some games, including a tombola and there was an Avon stall manned by Glynis and some face-painting being carried out by Joanna.
Everyone got to enjoy some live music from our singer Lucy and danced along to the tunes. The local fire brigade also came to see us and our residents got the opportunity to thank them for everything they do within the local community.
A residents’ daughter said “My brother, the kids and I really enjoyed the fete which was put on at Ivy Court. Despite the weather we all had a great time and we could tell much effort had gone into planning it – the kids had a great time. Thank you very much!”.
Thank you to everyone who came to our Mamma Mia themed fete and we look forward to welcoming you all back to the next event at Ivy Court.
