Residents at Ivy Court Care Home spent a wonderful day celebrating and remembering their father’s last weekend.
We welcomed a local Elvis Presley impersonator to the home who entertained us all. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time dancing and singing. After the music, we served lunch to our resident’s families and in particular the dads who joined us on the day.
We all had a lovely lunch together and were very happy to spend the day with our loved ones. Some of our residents thought of their dads and wanted to share their memories with us, so they wrote a favourite memory of their dad on a board for us to read.
Thank you to everyone who came to share in our celebrations with us and we look forward to the next event at Ivy Court.
