For International Men’s Day, the wellbeing team at Ivy Court Nursing Home in Norwich celebrated the men of the home with a day centred around them.
The team decided to start the celebrations with the one thing closest to a man’s heart – the pub! They hired out minibuses to take everyone down to their local, The Earlham, to enjoy a few pints while getting cosey by the log burner.
Later in the day, residents and team members took the party back to the home where they were joined by Andy from Men’s Sheds, a company dedicated to tackling loneliness and supporting the wellbeing of men by providing woodwork and DIY shops.
Everyone had a great day celebrating the gents of Ivy Court!
