The residents of Ivy Court Nursing Home in Norwich are avid royalists, so the wellbeing team decided to throw a party to celebrate King Charles’ birthday.
The team bought a giant cardboard cut-out of King Charles and decorated the lounge for the celebrations, assisted by volunteers, Glynis and Ben, who came along to help out for the day. They put out union jack buntings and balloons and displayed the King in the lounge. They also invited the very talented and charismatic Lucy in to entertain the residents who had a great time singing and dancing along to some classic hits, as well as posing for photos with their mini cutouts of the King!
