The team and Eva Trochim, home manager at Galsworthy House Nursing Home in Kingston-upon-Thames are delighted to have been invited to the Kingston College Employer Awards Ceremony.
We have strong links with the college and Kingston University in the local community as beauty students from the college come to the home every Friday to do manicures and hand massages for our residents. The residents look forward to their visits and enjoy being pampered.
Previously we have had students from the Health and Social Care program who joined us to complete their work experience days with us. During their time with us they get to spend time with our residents and see what daily life is like, we have a further two groups of students coming in the next few weeks as well.
It was also wonderful to be invited to Kingston College during Employability Week to deliver a presentation to the Health and Social Care students and have the opportunity to answer their questions.
We are delighted to have received our invitation to attend their upcoming awards ceremony on Thursday 15th June and look forward celebrating all the great work that has been done with the learners.
