Galsworthy House enjoys Tudor-themed day

Last week at Galsworthy House Nursing Home in Kingston-upon-Thames, the residents stepped back in time to learn about the Tudor era.

Held in the coffee room, they had fact sheets and printouts of photos covering fashion, sports, the royal family, and Hampton Court Palace. Starting with King Henry VII and his wife Elizabeth of York (the parents of Henry VIII), they then went on to discuss Henry VIII and his six wives.

The team wore Tudor-inspired dresses, shared fun facts, listened to Greensleeves (a popular song from this period), and even held a quiz to test their knowledge. Resident Angela commented on the day, “it was amazing to learn about things that I had forgotten about.”
