Galsworthy House Local Community Events

Aria Local Community Events

At Galsworthy House we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.

Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Coffee Club

Date: Third Wednesday each month
Time: 10am – 12pm

A great place for likeminded people from around the community to get together and make friends, take part in social activities and discuss local issues, all while enjoying a cuppa.

We are looking forward to having someone from the Alzheimer’s Society as a guest speaker at our coffee club on Wednesday 19th June.

Dog’s Café
Date: Last Tuesday of every month
Time: 10am – 12pm

Pop along with your furry friend to our dog café in aid of Dog’s Trust who are supporting our event, come into our home to grab a tea or coffee and cake while you are out on your dog walk. We ask for a small donation with all funds raised going to the Dog’s Trust.

Talk from the Alzheimer’s Society
Date: Wednesday 19th June
Time: 10am – 12pm

Join us as we host a talk from the Alzheimer’s Society where they will be discussing:
