Residents, staff and family members at Firtree House Care Home embraced all things 1950s America at their recent party.
Proper ice-cream milkshakes were made in our purpose-built diner and were enjoyed by our residents and their guests, whilst a visiting Elvis impersonator performed some of his greatest hits. Staff members dressed up in 1950s style outfits and there was even a diner style photo booth made.
Our 50s themed party was a great hit with everyone and Elvis had us all rockin’ and rollin’, as well as enjoying some classics played on our very own jukebox!
Our team love putting on these events for our residents and their families to enjoy. It is important that residents can socialise and feel engaged and events like this is a key factor of the care given at Firtree House.
