Firtree House Care Home joined many people across the country as they hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise funds to support those affected by cancer.
A host of sweet treats and hot beverages were on offer for all to enjoy as family and friends joined everyone at our community to raise money for such a worthwhile cause. There were a number of cakes to enjoy including apple cake, chocolate brownies and blondies, as well as coffee cake and chocolate cake.
We often host fundraising activities for charitable organisations and are always delighted with the response we get from our friends and family. Those that joined us this time said how wonderful it was to be able to come and enjoy the variety of wonderful cakes.
It was wonderful to see so many people come together to have fun over a piece of cake and a cup of tea or coffee, all while raising much needed funds.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and donated, we raised £97 for Macmillan Cancer Support which is fantastic, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event!
