Gildawood Court Care Home, set in large gardens, and quietly tucked away on the south side of Warwickshire town of Nuneaton in the Attleborough suburb, offers two homes within one!

Life at Gildawood Court is centred around the community of residents. Our dementia trained teams ensure that we provide a knowledgeable and flexible approach to supporting our residents with their day to day needs. We know that our community, friends and family are important to a restful stay with us and therefore, we welcome visits any time day or night to spend time with their loved ones. We all work with the residents as individuals at the centre of everything we do.

Daily life at Gildawood Court

At Aria Care, we take a genuine interest in you and the way you like spending your time. This means we can tailor your time with us and make sure it’s every bit as enjoyable as life has always been. Morning

Individual activities, tailored to our resident’s needs so they feel at home.
Our caring team ensure everyone has had a restful night and are ready for the day ahead.
You’ll find our residents soaking up the morning sun, enjoying a coffee or tea with fellow residents.

Afternoon

A home from home environment, to enjoy past hobbies, which includes baking and cooking.
A spot of flower arranging to brighten up your room or as a gift.
Regular visits from therapy dogs, a real treat that the residents enjoy.

Evening

Homecooked meals with your fellow residents are enjoyed in our comfortable dining rooms.
Quizzes and games fill the rooms with joy during the evenings in our community.
Seasonal events including, autumn cheese and wine evenings and summer BBQs.

The welcoming surroundings at Gildawood Court are matched by the high standard of individual care our colleagues provide to our residents. When you arrive and throughout your stay you’re greeted with warmth, passion, and care and our community is vibrant, happy, and homely.

We love learning as much as we can about who we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual need and interests. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, how they like their tea, and everything about their daily routine. Our team take the time to get to know all our residents and encourage independence and communication.

We are dedicated to providing a smooth transition into a home where care is from the heart and interaction with residents is paramount. Our residents show us the way. They tell us what they need, and we do our very best to deliver. Every element of our care is considered with their needs in mind. Meet the Manager

Hayley is our Home Manager at Gildawood Court, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:

“I have over 15 years experience in the care sector, I first started as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities, then became a CQC Registered Manager. Since then, I have managed various care settings, including domiciliary, supported living, residential and also nursing before Gildawood Court.

I enjoy the variety which each day brings at a care home. It is my responsibility to ensure that our residents receive the best care possible, that they are listened to and that their needs are met.

It is also really important that my staff are supported in their role to assist our residents. It is a team effort and we all need to be working together to ensure the development of the home is the best it can be for its residents, relatives and staff.”
