Life at Forth Bay, where there is never two days the same. Our residents have a enriched fulfilled life full of activities, friendships and care. Our team strive to provide personal, individualised care to each and every resident. Our residents are encouraged to live life as independently as possible, whilst offering support where needed.
What does care from the heart mean to the team at Forth Bay?
“Each and every resident within our community is treated as an individual, the team sees the person for who they are, not their diagnosis. Care is tailored according to our residents needs, abilities and preferences. The team are aware of our residents health needs and personal preferences, they ensure our residents are given as much choice and control as possible when care practices are being carried out. We have a strong, positive and dynamic team that treat our residents with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. Supporting our residents with not only care tasks but being there socially and emotionally to help our residents lead happy fulfilling lives.”

We love learning as much as we can about who we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual need and interests. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, how they like their tea, and everything about their daily routine. Our team take the time to get to know all our residents and encourage independence and communication.
We are dedicated to providing a smooth transition into a home where care is from the heart and interaction with residents is paramount. Our residents show us the way. They tell us what they need, and we do our very best to deliver. Every element of our care is considered with their needs in mind. Surrounding everyone with familiarity, security and care, we make their experience with us as fulfilling as possible.

Meet the Manager
Fiona is our Home Manager at Forth Bay, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:
“I joined Forth Bay as a newly qualified Staff Nurse in 2001 and have since taken on a number of senior roles including Charge Nurse and Deputy Manager. It is this in-depth knowledge of the home that has equipped me well as Home Manager.
I strive to give our residents the care and lifestyle they wish to have and endeavour to involve them in every aspect of their care.’
As well as spending time with residents and making sure that they are comfortable, safe and happy, I see it as an important part of my role to act as a mentor to my team. I firmly believe that a happy, fulfilled and motivated staff team puts us in a better position to consistently deliver a high standard of care.”
