At Oaklands House in Southampton, we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Monthly Church Service
Date: Last Wednesday of the month
Time: 2pm
Each month we welcome the local community to join us for a church service, held within our home by the lovely people from St James Church in West End .

Monthly Holy Communion Service
Date: Second Tuesday of the month
Time: 2:30pm
The pastoral team from St James Church in West End will visit once a month to hold a Holy Communion Service.
