The team, residents, relatives and volunteers at East Hill House Residential Care Home in Liss enjoyed taking part in Aria in Bloom where we got out in the garden, rolled our sleeves up and got ready for summer.
As we head into the warmer months, it’s the perfect time to get into the garden. At Aria Care we believe in the power of teamwork, which is why we launched our Spring into Summer initiative this May, with a ‘One Team Approach’. We understand the importance of making a great first impression so we rallied our teams to work together and get ready for the summer.
Everyone got involved as we took on various projects around the home to give it a refresh as we spring into summer. We had a very productive day, despite a heavy down pour in the afternoon but we didn’t let that stand in our way.
We potted various plants, gave the brick flowerbeds a freshen up with a coat of paint as well as the fences. Along with new plants and flowers being added around the garden we also created colourful new hanging baskets to have on display at the front of the home for all to see.
A huge thank you to everyone involved! Great fun was had by all and we will be hosting another day again next month as we all enjoyed ourselves so much.
Aria in Bloom will become a yearly activity that everyone across the company will get involved with, helping our homes prepare for the warmer days ahead. Our residents will then be able to enjoy their outdoor spaces and give them and their visitors a beautiful space to unwind.
